DANIEL J. DEBOY, RA — Senior Associate

Mr. DeBoy brings 32 years of experience from a broad range of building types, including education, government-municipal, commercial, residential, business, and hospitality. His portfolio reflects a specialization in healthcare, having performed key roles on several projects for the Erie County Medical Center Corporation in recent years. Mr. DeBoy has a thorough understanding of health codes and is sensitive to design concerns specific to healthcare staff and patient populations.

Philip H. Crowell, AIA — Associate

Mr. Crowell joined Kideney Architects in 2018 with a vast range of experience as a designer and a project manager. Attention to the details makes him a well-equipped individual within our team. Mr. Crowell’s portfolio includes several projects in the commercial sphere as well as in K-12 and higher education. Due to his wealth of experience, Mr. Crowell maintains strong communication and design skills that make him extraordinarily capable of finding solutions to any problems a client might face.

YADIRA D. DESANTIS, AIA — Associate

Ms. DeSantis is an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager. Known for exceeding client expectations with effective communication and problem-solving skills, she provides a range of services to her clients, inclusive of conceptual design planning, direct interaction with clients, consultant coordination, coordination with local approval agencies and client or facility representatives.  Ms. DeSantis has worked on numerous project types of varying size and costs for a diverse group of clients. These projects have provided her with experience in the design and construction administration of interior renovation, reconstruction, and new building projects.  Ms. DeSantis earned a BPS in Architecture from SUNY at Buffalo.  A member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Buffalo/WNY Chapter, she currently serves as a scholarship committee member.  In addition to her involvement on the local AIA board, she has also served as a committee member of the Buffalo Architecture Foundation’s Architecture + Education program since 2011.

MELISSA R. FOX, CID, NCIDQ, LEED AP — Associate

Ms. Fox has worked as an interior designer for Kideney Architects since 2007 on a broad range of assignments from hospitals and commercial facilities to college dormitories and sporting venues. She is recognized by her clients for her ability to conceptualize artistic, functional and creative designs through visually effective 3D modeling programs. Her intuitive nature and organizational skills positively influence her work.

JEFFREY T. JORDAN, LEED AP, BD+C — Associate

Mr. Jordan has been with Kideney Architects since 2008 and has worked as an intern architect and Architectural Designer. He has worked almost exclusively on healthcare assignments for the firm, including multiple projects for Erie County Medical Center, a nationally-recognized, regional, Level-I trauma center in Buffalo, New York.  He earned his Master of Architecture (M. Arch) from SUNY at Buffalo. He also holds a BA from Hobart and William Smith Colleges where he majored in Architectural Studies. A LEED BD + C Accredited Professional, Mr. Jordan is also involved within the community, where he has volunteered for both Habitat for Humanity and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

MICHAEL R. SMYNTEK, RA, LEED AP — Associate

Mr. Smyntek is a Registered Architect with more than 28 years’ experience working on various building types. His responsibilities include planning, design, detailing, and construction administration services on some of the firm’s most complex projects. Mr. Smyntek is recognized for his technical acumen, attention to detail and client-oriented approach to projects.
